Discover the ancient history of central Arabia on this exciting trip.From Riyadh, you will set off for an hour away, to visit the most famous ancient sculpture site in the Riyadh region called Al-Masikra (also known as Graffiti Rock 1). There, people carved texts and drawings of animals and humans dating back 8,000 years.
You will explore some of the valleys surprisingly full of trees surrounded by mountains where there are more wonderful sculptures on the rocks. Accompanied by a knowledgeable tour guide, you will examine the rocks and discover the history of central Arabia over a few thousand years, from the ancient era of green Arabia to the frankincense trade and conquests carried out by the Arab tribes.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Later in the trip, you will stop under an acacia tree to enjoy a meal in the shade. The tour will continue to a unique site with long ancient texts carved by the kings of Chiba which will be deciphered for you by your tour guide.
